Hall of Fame Inductee - Jerry and Ann Peters

Support comes in many shapes and sizes. In this case it comes in the form of Jerry and Ann Peters. For well over twenty years Jerry and Ann wore many hats and traveled many miles while supporting the QHS wrestling program. Their duties were many-their input and effort always appreciated. Jerry and Ann Peters did everything from serve as treasurers of the booster club to collecting ticket money at the door of the home wrestling meets. They sold tournament sponsorships, worked the concession stand, hosted the hospitality room, as well as, acted as chairpersons of the team breakfast. In short, Jerry and Ann were wherever they could be of help. In 1989 the QHS Varsity Wrestling Team presented Jerry and Ann Peters with an award for Dedicated Service--- an award now called "The Peters Award." Since that time Jerry and Ann have made that award a tradition and present it on an annual basis to the program's most deserving supporter. Support comes in many shapes and sizes. The Quincy High Wrestling Program has been fortunate to have Jerry and Ann's support these many years.
