Hall of Fame Inductee - Roy Wilcox
Mr. Roy D. Wilcox was a three sport star for Quincy High in the 1930's,
graduating in 1933. Beginning his sophomore year, Wilcox earned varsity
letters in football, basketball and track, for a total of nine. In the
1932 season, Wilcox was chosen as captain of the football teamÐwon the
prestigious "Watson Cup" and was selected as an honorable mention
All-State player. He was the president of the "Q" letter men's club and
the Centennial Club, and was also vice president of the Class of 1933.
After graduating from Quincy High Wilcox attended Culver Stockton
College where he earned letters in football and baseball all four years.
Mr. Wilcox is also a member of the Culver Stockton Hall of Fame.
